Transferring Money

Hello All!

Yesterday I had the (not so) pleasant adventure of paying my Orientation and Admission Fee. This has been a difficult process I have trying to figure out for the past few days. Here were a few of the problems:

1. My bank (ScotiaBank) could not wire transfer funds in Polish zloty (PLN). That is the currency that I needed. After a few back and forth posts on Facebook, I figured out that sending funds in Canadian dollars (CDN) would be acceptable. The banks would exchange the currency itself through the system. Problem 1 solved!
2. The bank then requested what the "account holder's" address was. The school stated it was my individual account, what address it was under I had no idea. I fired off an email, but I did not get a reply within two days. So we used the school's address. Problem 2 solved!

The bank went ahead with the above information and submitted the wire transfer. Here's to hoping that it works!
