Hey All,

This post comes quite late, as I jut finished up at the first year's sit down dinner. What a spectacular evening!
So the day started off with meeting with the dean's office. Was supposed to get my student and hospital id cards, but for some reason the office had not received mine yet, as well as others.

We carried on with polish as usual, and had an early end to the day to get ready for the formal dinner.
It was great to see everyone dressed up so nicely. I am thankful that I decided to eat some food before leaving though, as it said arrive at 7:00pm, which meant no food until 8:30pm.

The food was okay. I'm picky so I only ate the greens and chicken lasagna. The appetizer was a fig and goat cheese, which I tried and just did not enjoy. The desert was an apple cake, which I started to eat mine, too sweet, and also had cardboard in it.

There was a bit of awards handed out as gag diplomas for the week of orientation. Then we moved over to the bar for some socializing and dancing. As you can see, I called it an early night.

Tomorrow comes an 8am class, imatriculation ceremony, and authentic polish dinner.
